Place the substance that needs to be clean into a large container. Always use them in a well-ventilated room. The color from the rag could transfer to the fabric or surface you are cleaning. If the substance is severely affected by rust then it is always better that you use commercial rust remover or you have to buy a new tool. After using it scrub the affected area with tooth brush or small scrub brush. Sometimes just rubbing a little of cold water on the stain will take it out (washable fabrics). For fabrics made from a fiber blend, use the stain removal method appropriate for the most sensitive fiber. If you choose to purchase a product other than those referred to in this publication, be sure that the product indicates it will remove the particular stain you have. Special Considerations: Your leather/ vinyl jacket or clothing will give you years of service if cleaned and conditioned regularly. Pre-treat the area with an enzyme containing product and rub in well. Wash as normal and line dry. Then you should fill the contain with a mixture of one-fourth cup of lemon juice with every 4 cups of water. If the stain remains, you can try sponging the stain with rubbing alcohol (test fabric in an inconspicuous area first).
Wash clothes in the warmest water allowable for fabric. Dried blood stains may be very difficult to remove completely. The size of the container should be big enough to at least sink the rusted area. Many stains may be removed from clothing and household furnishings, increasing their quality and prolonging their useful life. Do not use chlorine on silk, wool, or spandex fibers.
